The big inspiration subject that has guided me in this project is the book "Alice in Wonderland" and I decided to produce a collection inspired by this scene of the Tea Party. First I learned the differences between the traditional British Tea Party in front of the Hatter Tea Party and I found the British Tea Party more gathered and polite comparing to the Hatter Tea Party, which is insanity party, and it represents the exact opposite of politeness and therefore I decided that the atmosphere that I want people to get from the collection is one of integrity that broke down and shattered, which kind of brought me up this pair of states "focused" and "unfocused". The focus in the British Tea Party and the lack of focus in the Hatter's tea party, and the way I chose to present it, is through a pattern which completes itself through layers in the garment. As you add more layers the eye manages to be less in focus and vice versa. I chose the print to be of porcelain which known as a drink ware used in tea parties, both in England and in the story of Alice.
